STUDIO B
Vintage vibe at the heart of the studio

Studio B is the second of the original studios built at Ardent’s Madison Avenue location. Currently housing a Solid State Logic 6056E console, the control room occupies what was the original tracking floor. When purchased, the console was too large for the existing control room, and so the space was reversed and remodeled.  This resulted in a unique mixing room that has served countless hits over the years and an intimate floor space perfect for tracking small ensembles or for overdubs. Check for the availability of our rackmounted mic preamplifiers and eq circuits from the studio's original Spectrasonics console. These combined with Ardent's extensive outboard gear will give any project that vintage Ardent vibe.
